**A crimson sunrise,** 
**frosted forest fields glisten,** 
**a lonely heartbeat.**

**The morning blossoms,** 
**a doe bows at the river,** 
**soft blessings chanted.**

**Sitting cross-legged,** 
**dark clouds give way to blue skies,** 
**eyes closed, time stopped.**

**The kettle whistles,** 
**rising from my window seat,** 
**the new day begins.**
