And I am an Optimist

And I am an Optimist
image

It seems to me that the world is spinning faster.

and most certainly on a more than wobbly axis

The crazy things I read and hear are not subtle signs that things have gone awry.

The damage is done as seas rise, fires burn and storms rage

The plague or two that traveled the globe.

beginning in nature or in a petri dish is point most moot.

Whether this is,

gods displeasure, mother nature casting us off her back or our tomfoolery,

It seems to me that we are up a foul-smelling creek without a paddle.

So to all of those who point a finger at those right and left of them I say

Off your high horses and lets roll up our sleeves and figure out how to

repair the damage that can be undone and watch a few YouTube videos

on building an Ark and how to convince pairs of badgers & elk, muskrats & mice

and a few of our great grandchildren to march two by two

up the plank to weather the storms to come.
